A great place to tour by motorcycle is Southern California. It can be hectic driving though the city. There are plenty of traffic jams, and lots of unhappy motorists stuck in them. You have to watch out for the cops, and make sure you drive safely. But, Once you get out of the city and into the mountains you will never want to leave.
There are tons of mountaineous areas to explore in the Southern California area. Most of Southern California is surrounded by towering mountains. It would take years to explore all of them, but even for the cyclist with only a few days, it is worth it. Make sure you pack plenty of water, because it can get hot.
Once you are out of the city and in the mountains, just riding along the trails isn’t enough. You have to get to the top of one of the towering mountains that surround California’s southernmost valleys. There is nothing like looking down from the top of a Southern California mountain at the world. There is a reason that California hold such interest to so many people, and its not just Hollywood. The scenery is amazing. It would be a shame to go your whole life and never experience what it feels like to ride your bike along the mountain trails of Southern California. If you take only one tour on your Motorcyle, this is the one to take.
