There are so many options these days when it comes to purchasing a new motorcycle, from cruisers to sport bikes, to enduro style motorcycles. The options are endless. So how do you know which one is going to make you happy? That’s a hard question to answer.
You really have to take a step back and consider what is more important when you think about riding a motorcycle. Are you more likely to enjoy a ride that is more “on the edge” or fast paced, or are you going to want to sit back and relax and take in the scenery as is passes by?
If you’re looking for a thrill every time you ride, then you’ll want to go with a motorcycle that can provide you with more quickness and agility. The sport bike might be a better option in your case.
Perhaps you’d rather take it easy and travel at a more leisurely pace. In this case you would probably be better off going with cruiser. The cruiser is more of a casual rider’s motorcycle and allows you to take corners more gracefully and with less intensity. Even the riding position of a cruiser type motorcycle is much more laid back than then forward leaning position that you have on a sport bike.
There are so many different types of motorcycles to choose from within each category. For cruisers you have the street, touring, sport touring, and more, and for sport bikes you have dual sport, enduro, super moto, and more. All come with their own styles and price tags and you really have to do a bit of research to decide which one is in your budget and also has the features that you’re looking for.
Remember to also purchase leather gear when you ride so that you can stay comfortable and protected on each and every trip that you take.
