The group of diverse musicians known as The Black Eyed Peas rocked the Staple Center in L.A. Tuesday night for a sold out audience. Their performance was shown live in 475 theaters all over the country. One of the theaters rocked was the Century Theaters at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas, NV.

The night started off with a behind the scenes look at the filming of two videos from the BEPs new album. The Video “Imma Be Rocking That Body” is a futuristic rendition of “The Wizard of Oz” and a great piece of work.
After much fan fare the concert began. The hits came fast and furious, “Let’s get it started” to “Rock that body” to Fergie’s solo efforts “Fergalicious” and “Glamorous.”
Joining the fun was rapper Ludacris, who performed with Fergie as did Guns ‘n Roses former guitarist Slash. Fergie and Slash wrote and recorded ‘Beautiful Dangerous’ which will be on Slash’s new album coming out April 6th.
The fact that Michael Jackson’s final rehearsals for his ‘This is it’ tour wasn’t ignored. The ‘Michael Jackson elevators or lifts are still at the Staple Center. They are set up to lift a person slowly or pop them up like a toaster. The director of the tour remarked that the stage would cost over $8 million dollars to build from scratch. The toasters are the only ones in the world.
Each member of the group was showcased with their own performance time. Taboo as stated above flew on a futuristic motorcycle type vehicle. Apl.de.ap’s performance tipped his hat to his Filipino heritage and made the Filipino fans in the audience go crazy. Will.I.am returned to his DJ days while lifted above the audience on yet more hydraulics.
